Creating Mindful Mealtimes In the New Year
How can practicing mindfulness help us to plan, prepare and enjoy our meals in a more meaningful way?
As we think about our new year’s resolutions, many of us want to eat healthier and set a good example for our kids. This interactive session with Heather Sears, author of “Mind to Mouth: A Busy Chick’s Guide to Mindful Mealtime Moments,” will explore insights on the challenges we face during modern mealtimes and how better connection with our food can change our lives. We’ll discuss:
** How social media and food marketing impacts our choices—how to cut through the noise.
** A simple way to create mental space and be more fully present during your day and during meals.
** Steps for mindful meal planning, shopping, cooking, and eating.
** Tips for creating mindful mealtimes with kids.
Although not required to join, we encourage you to purchase Heather’s new book on Amazon prior to our discussion.
